Winter Christmas Table Arrangement

Christmas is the season when you take a break from your hectic life and spend time with your family. Did you know christmas is homemade. The best thing about christmas is that you make memories with your children. There is a certain amount of nostalgia with the way you celebrated it as a child and how you choose to celebrate with your child. I drape the pompom garland and the very moment I see a tiny glimmer in my cherubs eyes….and I break into a song……..

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woollen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things.

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites, when the bee stings
When I’m feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don’t feel so bad.

I am doing christmas inspired table arrangements on my blog with loads of tips and tricks to make your life easy. The first look that I have chosen is a Classy Winter Inspired Christmas Table Arrangement. This is a part 1 of the Christmas table arrangement series on my blog.

Linen for your table : Enhance the look of your table with beautiful linen in elegant palette of shades like soft grey, pearly white or teal.

Cutlery : A beautifully set table is half the meal. Investing in a good silverware will be a good investment. It always adds an elegant touch to your well dressed dining table. The cutlery is always kept in the order in which the diner will use it.

Beautiful blooms : You can never go wrong with flowers. Try a simple flower arrangement to be the centre piece of your dining table. I also like to use foliage and berries. Here in U.K the gardens are bordered with beautiful Pyracantha berries. I have used them to decorate the dining table. A vase of amaryllis with green leaves is lovely for christmas, as it will last for a week.

Light : The candles add warmth to the entire setup and always create a very welcoming atmosphere. Always experiments with shape size and colour of candles. The candelabra is also a wonderful addition to your set of props as it can be quite eye-catching in a decent setup. The flickering light of so many candles creates a very sessional ambiance.

I have created a moody and magical winter landscape inspired christmas dining look. The ambiance seems enchanted and induces romanticism.Hope you enjoyed it and don’t forget to ping me your questions.
