NetFlights – Taste Of My Country Campaign

Last week I am really glad to be a part of the NetFlights feature where 10 bloggers were asked to contribute a recipe which represents the cuisine of their homeland or heritage, putting all the recipes together into an online recipe magazine will be shown to their travellers for some of the best recipes from all around the world.I chose to cook a very special dal called as the Spicy Dal with Chora Vadi & Cashews.

Dal and rice are the staple food of the Indian subcontinent.Dal is the principal accompaniment in most meals. Low calorie, Proteinious and extremely flavourful.

Chora Vadi are sun dried cowpea lentils chunks. The Vadis are extremely crunchy and stored in an air-tight container. I find it extremely versatile and can add a whole new texture to your curries. It is now considered exotic as not many homes make it.

Please find the recipe on their website.Click here!!

A heart thank you to all my readers. We crossed 30,ooo views last week with my Naan Qalia recipe. This really aids me in getting a ranking with google. Lots of love and more tremendous effort from my end.
