Halo inspired Christmas table arrangement

This is part 3 of my christmas table arrangement. This is for all the people who believe in simplicity. Feast with an enchanting yet minimal table arrangement.This is a very leisurely assemble, where you can just fill your glass or pot with cutlery and place in the centre so that everyone can help themselves. Cutlery chosen should always suit your taste, from sleek, to contemporary or geometric art deco styles. There is a hint of white and subdued grey colour palette with snowy silvers to exude a halo which engulfs the whole arrangement. There are no patterns or chaos in the set up it’s a linear design. Suit yourself with minimal stress on arrangement which can be done the very day by the host.

Budget : Using filler flowers as the main arrangement is often less expensive than the main flowers in the bouquet, and opting for an arrangement with more of them can be a good choice if you’re on a budget.I have used baby breath’s a distinctive cluster of white small flowers which looks so pretty.

Greetings: Somehow this is the techno age and we have limited our expression of feeling to Facebook and whatsapp. I find the culture of handwritten notes in the post to family members is so earthy. Just like the earthy tones of the setup above. Let your guests know and family members know that you are thinking of them with a charming christmas card. I generally get mine from British heart foundation charity.

Christmas trees: In our school days we had a huge christmas tree planted in the playground where we used to gather for nativity and carols. But it remained rooted till eternity. At home I prefer artificial ones rather than freshly cut christmas trees. Did you know you could add fragrant to your tree couch as fresh pine or cedar wood. Give your home a personal touch with handcrafted trimmings.

Shop: Do the shopping for things in advance. I bought my tableware linen, cutlery and napkins last month. When I go back today it mentions the same things at double the price. Its is not a sin to shop in advance and stock bulky items.

Cookery skills: No one is perfect. Practise makes a man or a woman perfect. Food bloggers facilitate the cause. I know that a cheesy line. But do come back for more recipes and ideas. Follow youtube videos and improve your carving skills, brush up your baking on weekends.

Simple thought for christmas: A convent education doesn’t make you appreciate morals and values. If your intellect is enriched with knowledge acquired heuristically watching your mom, observing adults, listening to those moral induced bedtime stories, reading the holy scriptures. Then you will understand the value of any festivity. It means happiness with family,spreading positiveness to people, not waste time on ranting and turning the most negative situations in your favour. If you find your halo in your immediate surroundings you hardly have time to see the other greener pastures around. This is the proof of a perfect christmas.
